- Ramp up in a new team quickly — learning the systems, people, and norms that matter first.
- Build trust and a support network with your manager and peers in the critical first weeks.
- Find and own an impactful project that establishes your credibility.
- Move from short-term wins to a credible medium- and long-term plan by the end of your first quarter.
Who it is for
Engineers and managers starting a new job, joining a new team, or stepping into a new role who want to make their first 90 days count. It’s best to start at or just before your start date so the sessions track your real ramp-up.
FAQ
When should I start this coaching? Ideally at or just before you start the new role. The five sessions are timed across your first ~12 weeks: initial, week 2, week 4, week 8, and week 12.
I’m changing teams internally, not companies — does it apply? Yes. A new team or role brings the same learning, trust-building, and project-finding challenges this package addresses.
What’s the goal by week 12? To be executing on an impactful long-term project with established credibility and a support network — not still finding your footing.
How is this different from career planning coaching? This is focused specifically on the transition and ramp-up window; career planning is the longer-term growth framework.
What if my onboarding timeline is different? Your coach adapts the cadence to your actual start date and ramp, so the check-ins land when they’re most useful.
